Persian-owned, Moseley-grown
TenTen is Persian-owned and family-run. By day it does the brunch Moseley loves — halal full English, pancakes, good coffee. Look closer and you'll find the food we grew up with: kotlet patties with warm flatbread, bandari sausage from the southern ports, saffron in the chai.
No fusion, no fuss — two food cultures on one sunlit corner, each done properly.
Spicy sausage, potato and crispy grilled onion in tomato purée, with flatbread and yoghurt.
Persian meat and potato patties with fresh tomato, pickles and flatbread.
Mashed aubergine with garlic, dried mint, fermented yoghurt and walnuts.
Finish with a havij bastani — fresh carrot juice, vanilla ice cream afloat, crushed pistachios.

About us
TenTen is run by a young crew who take this seriously — people who treat coffee and cooking as crafts worth studying, not jobs to get through.
Specialist courses go in the diary through the year: barista work, kitchen technique, service. Nothing new reaches a table until it has been practised properly, which is why the flat white tastes the same on a quiet Tuesday as it does on a full Saturday.
The idea came from Amir Naseri, who has been in Birmingham since he was two and grew up between two ways of doing breakfast. He wanted a café that met every expectation you would have of a traditional English one, and then added something from the cafés back home — which is why the Persian Omelette is cooked the way grandmothers cook it in Iran, and why the Persian Chai Latte — saffron, rose, pistachios — exists at all.
I've always loved experimenting with food and drinks, coming up with new ways to add a little something special. Amir Naseri, founder — BirminghamLive, 2024
Since opening on Alcester Road in 2024, the aim has not moved: set the standard for the Moseley Village café community, one table at a time.
